We do two things we genuinely love: helping young people fall for STEM and computer science, and building software that simply works.
Our approach
We value the young people we teach as capable thinkers and tomorrow’s leaders — not an audience to be talked down to.
We explain hard ideas honestly and clearly, trusting students to rise to the challenge. They always do.
We teach the things we love, and that energy is the difference between a lesson endured and a lesson remembered.
Every edition of every course is sharper than the last, shaped by what worked and what we learned.
Our story
Brainzie sounds like "brainy" — fitting for a company that teaches computer science and STEM. But the name is also a little closer to home. The letters B-A-R-S stand for the four people behind it:
In partnership
Since 2024 we’ve delivered eight weekly course programmes in partnership with Townley Grammar School — spanning science, computational thinking, mathematics challenges, cryptography and professional software development.
Along the way our students have earned Gold certificates in the UK Bebras Challenge and prepared for national maths challenges. See the full track record →
Working with young people
Brainzie holds a current DBS check, and all of our work with students is carried out in line with our partner schools’ safeguarding policies and supervision. If you’re a parent or a school and have any questions about how we work, please ask us — we’re always happy to talk it through.
Schools, parents and organisations — we’d love to hear what you’re trying to achieve.
